We are proud of being Chilean and of producing from our land. We have created a perfect harmony that enables us to produce the best wines of the world: climate, water, land and the people who love to cultivate the grapes.

And as if this wasn´t enough, we are free and pure in a protected environment due to our geography.

In the North we have the most arid desert in the world; the Atacama Desert.
In the East we have the highest mountain range, with its millennium glaciers.
In the West, the Pacific Ocean isolates us from the rest of the world.
In the South the Antarctic and the Patagonia protect us.

All this, accompanied by a variety of soils and perfect climates enables us to fulfill our mission and produce the best wines.

 

 

VIÑA SANTA IRENE has developed in Curicó, the heart of the Central Valley of Chile. With three main farms in different areas and under different soil and climate conditions, we have looked for the best terroirs for our different grapes.

The vineyards, the beginning of everything we do

Vineyards in Peñaflor

Near to Molina, this farm has great conditions for the production of red grape varieties. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah are the main grapes. In the heart of the Valley of Curicó, its dry and moderate climate allows prolonged maturities before harvest time.

Vineyards of Rauco

In the East area of the Valley of Curicó, and shores of the Mataquito between the mountain ranges of the Cordillera de la Costa, is a privileged area which has delivered a great Carmémère and Cabernet Sauvignon during the last few years.
With a thermic range between day and night in the months where the grape matures, you can feel the 40 kilometers from the sea. This has allowed the grapes to express their complete potential delivering wines with a marked character and potent notes of each grape.

Vineyards of Bellavista

In the highest part of the Valley of Curicó and with influence of the fresh winds which come from the Cordillera de los Andes mountains, this farm has the best conditions for the production of white varieties. Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay are the grapes planted in this farm, resulting in fresh, vibrant and aromatic wines.

Our Wine Cellars

We have two wine cellars, where tradition and technology unite to achieve the best results. We process the grapes from our farms to ensure trazability and innocuity during the process of elaboration.

Monterilla, Curicó

This wine cellar was built in 2000 with a capacity of 18 million liters and is in the north entrance of the Valley of Curicó, near to the main producing farms of the country.

Los Lirios, Rancagua

Near the area of Requinoa, in the Valley of Cachapoal, and with a capacity of 20 million liters, this wine cellar counts with the best conditions for the production and storage of big volumes of wine.
